And hello to you, too :)

HAIR AND MAKE UP:

Self expression is vital to me and I love helping others to shine how they want to!  I've been a hairstylist for roughly 10 years so far.  I was educated through Toni and Guy, an international European company that started a well known chain of salons worldwide, established the Bedhead, TIGI product lines, and has greatly strengthened education in the hair industry.  After working as an "Art Director II" and an Assistant Manager, I was very thankful to be invited into the training program for their Art Team.  Immediately, I started training for platform work , and I must admit that it terrified me standing and performing in front of Anthony Mascolo and his colleagues.  I was honestly quite intimidated by all of the incredible stylists!  I actually really loved the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex... Yeah, there are many incredible people out there!  Still, Austin wouldn't stop compelling me with its laid-back, accepting, chill, progressive, and musical vibe, so I transferred.  After that I worked at a few places around town and rented my own booth a couple of times.  I've also been a make up artist for other's and my own photo shoots as well as weddings, portfolios, commercials, and a local feature film- GenerationMe.   Now, I am happy to be working for myself through my company Look Photography and Style.

PHOTOGRAPHY:

I have studied photography and worked as a photographer thanks to Frank Curry of the Austin Community College Photography Deparment, The Cevallos Brothers Productions, Trendsmashers, and talented friends.  Over the past few years, I have taken photos for Sxsw, local events, various bands, portfolio shots, and various creative photo shoots here and there.  Lately, I have been getting involved with videography and video editing projects.

OTHER WORK:

Alongside all of this, philanthropy is at my core, and so I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Social Work focusing on Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies. Then, I went on and got my Masters in Clinical Social Work.  My life journey has included work and volunteerism with many efforts in many various aspects of social and environmental justice.  I'm also an Empowerment Coach, so feel free to check out my Coaching site here at www.Ivispark.com. So feel free to reach out!

THE POINT OF IT ALL:

And this brings me to something that is at the root of all of this work...

If you would like to help out in a worthwhile, yet challenging, but MUCH NEEDED cause, IamYOUareME is an organization that friends and I have created to help folks in underserved communities around the world.  These folks are grassroots (budding NGOs) who strive to help orphans, street children, abused women, and more.  Due to their circumstances, they are in  dire need of help with validation and/or need some used office/education/supportive equipment.

Not all people begging for help are scamming,

and this org is all about helping to create relationships with truly  sincere and capable people in very alarming situations.  These are people who are trying to help others around them and not just themselves in an environment where little to no support is currently available.

Feel free to contact me if you are interested in helping or even donating to the cause!  https://www.facebook.com/reachfeatherlight

Please feel free to message me through there, too.

Lots of love to you!! Never forget...
